Stratford on Avon
17th – 19th May 2024
Reservations are now being taken for the Dronfield Clarion Spring weekend to Stratford on Avon. Rooms have been reserved for two nights from Friday 17th May to Sunday 19th May 2024.
Distance to Stratford is 105 miles. Our route takes us through Derby, Atherstone, Kenilworth and Warwick, with off road, good surfaced trails being used where possible. Anyone wanting ‘a leg up’ has the option of train assisting from Sheffield or Chesterfield to Derby where we can arrange to collect you at the DCFC stadium. Saturday rides heading into the Cotswolds will be arranged before a meal in the evening and a ride home on the Sunday.
The Stratford Travelodge, with a restaurant and bar, is ¾ mile outside the town centre & we have permission from Travelodge to store our bikes in our rooms.
The cost: For one person with sole occupancy of a double room: £178 for two nights.
For one person sharing a double room or a twin room: £108 for two nights.
The optional English breakfast buffet is £9.50 so would be £19 for the weekend.
At this stage we are just taking reservations, do not send any money just yet. Please contact the organiser, Barry Raynor, if you require further information.
