Spring Weekend
Cheshire Oaks Travelodge
15th – 17th May 2026

The time has come to make your reservation for the Dronfield Clarion Spring weekend. The destination this year is Cheshire Oaks, a shopping outlet with all facilities linked to Chester city centre by a 5-mile cycle path. The costs are as follows:
One person with sole use of a double room is £200 for two nights.
One person sharing a double room with wife/husband/partner £100 each for two nights.
One person sharing a twin or family room £105 for two nights. (If you have someone in mind to share a room, let me know please).
The hotel does not provide meals/breakfasts and the local establishments are not open until 9am but a breakfast box is available for purchase, cost is £6 each but must be ordered in advance – please let me know if you wish to purchase any.
As usual, rides have been planned in the local area and a meal will be arranged at a local restaurant for Saturday night. The meeting point on Friday will be Baslow and the distance to Cheshire Oaks is 75 miles. I have reserved a number of rooms at the Travelodge and these will be saved against your names as you contact me. DO NOT SEND ME ANY MONEY AT THIS STAGE. I will be in contact with you after the New Year with more details and a request for the amount you need to send and where to send it. Please contact me if you need more details.
